Reunification Training for Boone-Winnebago County School Districts (2 Dates Available)

The Standard Reunification Method - Reunification Exercise (SRM-REx) brings our team to your community where we will work with all stakeholders who have a role in reunification, ensuring a common understanding of the process, establishing the use of common language, and strengthening the relationships that you have built with your stakeholders. 

SRM-REx explores the history, concepts and functionality of the Standard Reunification Method, the key principles and roles involved in the reunification process, and level of effort and materials needed for planning and preparing for reunification. Additionally, participants will receive a brief overview of the Standard Response Protocol and learn about the role that Incident Command plays in reunification.

Teacher Evaluator Initial Training - AA #2001

This 2-day ONLINE academy is designed for individuals who are seeking initial training qualifications for teacher evaluation. This academy aligns with the competencies for Part 50, Section 50.420 (a-b).

**Day 2 includes the training assessment which may extend past the 3:30 session end time.

Pre-work is required for this training and MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO 6/2/24!!Please be advised you will not be admitted to the class unless the pre-work assignment(s) is completed. 

A $50 Processing Fee Will Be Charged If Your Registration Is Not Canceled By 06/11/25.

SRM-REx features functional exercises where participants will practice the reunification process including role assignment, set up, and mock reunification of “students” with their “parents or guardians.” Participants will experience the reunification process as a part of the reunification team, a student, and a parent, and they will learn how to conduct successful reunifications and reunification exercises.

The School Psychologist Network is a collaborative community designed to support and empower school psychologists in their mission to enhance student well-being and academic success. This network fosters professional growth through shared resources, peer connections, and ongoing training opportunities. Members engage in discussions on best practices, problem-solving, and emerging trends in education and mental health. By cultivating a supportive environment, the network aims to address challenges, celebrate achievements, and promote impactful, evidence-based practices. Together, school psychologists can build stronger school communities and advocate for the needs of all learners.

AI for Administrators: Boosting Efficiency and Streamlining Your Workday

This workshop is designed for district-level administrators who are eager to learn how to leverage the power of AI for increased efficiency and productivity.

We'll move beyond the theoretical and dive into practical applications of AI tools that can be implemented immediately. Learn how to automate tasks, analyze data, and streamline workflows, freeing up your time to focus on strategic initiatives and student success. This interactive session will include hands-on demonstrations and real-world examples of AI in action within a school district context.

No prior experience with AI is required

School Bus Driver Refresher Training

ROE Winnebago Room

School Bus Driver 2-Hour Refresher Course

Bus drivers are required to take a 2-hour refresher course each year to keep their permit current. Drivers or their district/company must pre-register here with the Regional Office of Education ($10.00 fee required at time of registration).

Course Information:

Drivers MUST BE REGISTERED TO ATTEND. Please register in groups of 1-10 participants until the class capacity has been reached. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Phone-in or email registrations are no longer accepted for any bus driver training classes held at ROE 4. Once the class size has reached capacity, no further registrations will be accepted - NO EXCEPTIONS!
This course is held in the Regional Office of Education Main Training Room, 300 Heart Blvd, Loves Park, IL 61111. (Addresses of courses held at other locations are as listed in the School Bus Driver Training Schedule). Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Classes start promptly at 6:00 p.m. LATE ARRIVALS AND WALK-INS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. No refunds will be given for no shows or within seven (7) days of this class.
