The Science of Reading Level 2: Applications to Teaching and Learning

This workshop serves as a closer look into the components of reading and writing development.  Participants will engage more deeply with how the sciences of reading and writing transfers to teaching and learning.  Evidence-based classroom strategies and frameworks for instruction will be shared, and participants will have opportunities to reflect, apply, and plan.

This session is day two of our Science of Reading Institute. Lunch will be provided. Enrollment for this session is contingent upon previous training in "The Science of Reading."

Presented by Dr. Amy Stewart -- literacy coach and author of Little Readers, Big Thinkers.

Note: If you would like to attend both sessions on August 6th and August 7th, there is a discounted rate. You MUST sign up for the seperate session "The Science of Reading: Day 1 & 2 Bundle."

Participant will be responsible for the registration fee unless cancellation notice is received by the ROE 4+ office within 7 business days of the training. Refunds will not be processed unless this criteria is met.
